This policy explains what personal information CodeNet (“we”, “us”) collects when you use codenet.dev, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the GDPR.

The short version

  • This is a static website. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • The only personal data we collect is what you send us through the contact form.
  • We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.

What we collect and why

When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you provide. Our form processor also records the time of submission and may briefly log your IP address to detect spam. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads to work, to manage that engagement. Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs for security. The site currently uses no third-party analytics or trackers; if we add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics we will update this page first.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the site and respond to you: Hostinger (hosting and the contact-form backend) and our email provider (to deliver and reply to your message). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages and the correspondence that follows are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they relate to an active or completed project. You can ask us to delete your message sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email us from the address you contacted us with and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board).

Children

This site is for a business audience and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date shown on the page always reflects the current version.
